I think I have a postcard for Friday … not sure … and it may be completely different by tomorrow, depends on the sorta feedback I get, but thought I’d post it up here on my studio lunch break 🙂
Each animal represents a season – Rabbit/Spring, Frog/Summer, Hedgehog/Autumn, and Owl/Winter – so this relates to the word “Year”.
To include the Olympic logo, each animal is given a colour from one of the rings, with black being used in the circles that surround each image. So this links to the colours and shapes used in the iconic logo.
Here’s two other ideas, one refined and one not so refined – I think it’s obvious which is which! 😛
So this was an idea of using just numbers – 776 being the first year the Olympics were held and this year where it’s being held in London – 2012! I was kinda aiming for making it look like a code.
And this is more of a doodle style – each letter being a season…
So that’s it so far! Hope ya like it! 🙂
